L'Hotel, Paris, the Beaux-arts, Montreal, and the Arts Students League of New

promote art of Vision and Craftsmanship. (The Society was made into a Charity in

Jack
Lipowszan
Jack
Lipowczan was born in 1951 in Poland. He attended the most important Polish art
college - the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, which he finished in 1976
obtaining a Master’s Degree in Graphic-Design. Directly after his studies, he
worked as an Assistant Scene Designer for the Polish Film Studios and also had a
few exhibitions showing his works: oil-paintings and drawings.
Jack
left Poland in 1981 and lived in Sweden, Australia, and finally settled in
Germany. Until 2002, he worked as an Art Director, first in a film studio in
Sydney, Australia, and then in different advertising agencies in Germany. Since
2003 Jack has been devoting his life to painting and working as an independent
artist-painter and illustrator.
Jack
Lipowczan was always fascinated by the art of Hieronymus Bosch, Peter Breughel,
Holbein, and, later in life, by the artists of the Italian Renaissance. Those
influences can be clearly seen in his paintings, which show meticulous attention
to detail, composition and color.
Jack’s
style of painting can be best expressed as fantastic realism intertwined with
surrealism. He has a very personal attitude to his art: his paintings are the
ironic but benevolent synthesis of life seen through the mirror of the soul.
Each one of Jack’s paintings has a few allegorical stories to tell, but
he leaves the interpretation to the spectator.
Jack
Lipowczan is an associate member of the Society of Art of Imagination. His works
are owned by private persons in Poland, Sweden, Austria, Germany, England,
Australia and the USA.

| So, you want to know something about my
art activities! I am not so active with exhibitions. Painting is a
personal need like eating and drinking. It's something for the soul. It
is also a possibility to express feelings and sensations. Sometimes I
sell, but I also give away my pictures to friends. I have not been at
the university and I did not study art, I studied it myself. |

So, you want to know something about my
art activities! I am not so active with exhibitions. Painting is a personal need
like eating and drinking. It's something for the soul. It is also a possibility
to express feelings and sensations. Sometimes I sell, but I also give away my
pictures to friends. I have not been at the university and I did not study art,
I studied it myself.
Once I received a big piece of canvas,
that was the start for big pictures. Later I painted on old bed sheets and on
big cardboards. Once I made some money as a dentist technician, I was able to
buy real canvas an many colours. My daughters Mariana and Giuliana accompanied
me in my art activities, and Giuliana painted always something inside the
pictures. I never scolded her, but we laughed a lot. I cannot say more about my
art activities, I hope that it is enough!
For me angels are no religious entities.
I am not so much into religion. For me it is more important to have a helpful
hand and to be a good human being, than to be a believer.
There are too many people in this world
making war in the name of any kind of religion, and excuse themselves to be a
believer. The angels in our living areas spread a good feeling of safety,
security, and protection. That's their duty. In the evening, with candle light,
they spread a touch of magic and peace in the room. So much about angels.
y te mando bessitos de nosotros. Saludos
