SCULPTURE WORKSHOP

Tenno, Trentino, Italy

What will be offered?

The minimum number of participants is 3, the maximum is 5.
Participation fee is 150 Euros for 15 hours in one week.
Material costs go separate.
These 15 hours are scheduled as an average over 3 hours for 5 days.
That allows to be flexible in case of rain, because in sculpture we have to work outside.
Obviously, one can also book two sessions for one week.
Each participant can chose her/his own field.
I will offer sculptures in stainless steel, granite, marble, lime stone
or in mixed techniques using wood, paper, fiber glass and resin.
Each participant will receive her/his own safety tools like ear protection,
eye protection and leather gloves. These objects can be kept and taken home.

material costs:

# sculptures in stainless steel: at the end the sculpture will be weighted.
Cut off parts can be recycled and reused.
In the moment 1kg of stainless steel comes to 6 Euros.
The costs for welding and current will be covered by the class fees.
Participants will receive all the necessary tools and safety materials.		 # granite and marble sculpture: at the end the sculpture will be weighted.
1kg of granite comes to 1 Euro. This includes current and materials.
Participants will receive all the necessary tools and safety materials.
# limestone sculpture: this is a very common stone that can be found everywhere for free. 
For electric current and the working tools there is a lump sum of 30 Euros.
Participants will receive all the necessary tools and safety materials.		 # sculptures with mixed techniques: 
At the end the sculpture will be weighted: 
1kg of sculpture will cost 2 Euros. 
This covers all the expenses for current and material.
accommodation:

the nearest hotel, Hotel alla Croce, is in the reach of a 10 minutes walk.
Bed and breakfast at “alla Croce” is about 30 Euros,
full pension about 50 Euros.

how to arrive:

The next bigger international airport is Milano, smaller ones are Verona, Brescia and Bergamo.
From Milano to Tenno it is a 2 hours drive, rush hours excluded.
If I know it in advance, I can pick up the guests from the airport.

what to see:
Lake Garda and the Trentino 

Tenno is a small town with about 800 inhabitants, 500 meters above Lake Garda,
5 km from Riva del Garda. Hotel “alla Croce” is right near the Tenno castle.
Near Tenno the mountains are only 2000-2300 meters.
For skiing you must drive to Madonna di Campiglio (1 hour drive), or to the
Dolomiti glaciers (2 hours drive).
You can do all kind of sports: windsurfing, sailing, canyoning, horse riding, golf,
