Man
& Butterfly
Limestone
engraving
A
caterpillar is earth stuck. Its whole existence depends on the
material plane. After 4 cycles the chrysalis starts. And then
it becomes a butterfly that can rise itself above the material
level. It still lives with the earth, eats from the earth, but
has a better view of things than a caterpillar. For this
reason it has often been used as a symbol of a person that has
evolved from one that only used to be concerned about material
needs to someone that cares for the development of her/his
soul.

Mirror
pieces
For
the trunk and the big branches little pieces of mirrors have been
taken, using the living elements: the small plants coming out of
cracks and holes of the rock. This makes a warmer effect at daytime,
and in the twilight the tree as a whole becomes magic: uniting sun,
heat, moon and magic. |

3-Gender
Limestone
engraving
In
Western societies only two separate kinds of gender are
allowed. In earlier days it was different, and in many
African, American and Asian cultures there are still at
least 3 different kinds of gender groups. Some North
American Indians know even 6 different Types of gender
behavior. In this symbol you find 3 gender symbols united:
down points the Mars symbol, up right the Venus, and up left
the Uranus Sign. In Astrology Uranus stands for the 'unusual',
'unexpected', for something beyond normal standards.

Heliconia
Stainless steel
The
idea of the steel sculpture was taken from the tropical flower Heliconia.
The name is rooted from Mt. Helico, the home of ancient Greek gods. There
are 23 basic leaves. In the Indian tarot the number 23 means
"Maya". Usually Maya is represented as a woman working on a
distaff. She stands for the illusion that the material world seems real
and the spiritual worlds unreal. After the basic leaves 10 main leaves
follow, symbolizing the 10 dimensions of the real world. On top are three
leaves twisted like a Möbius-ring. The latter shows a particular feature:
cut along the middle line, the ring does not fall apart into two pieces,
but remains one!

TV10
TV-Screen
The
painting on the screen symbolizes the development of the universe. The
surface of the screen is two-dimensional. The images on it arrives from
one dimension higher, the third dimension. In the same way our visible 3-D
universe is created from unseen higher dimensions. Modern science talks
about 10 dimensions altogether, a number that was know by Buddhists
already 2500 years ago. The Celts used to place 10 points in a triangle to
symbolize the universe as a whole, an arrangement found in the centre of
the screen: n this
way the 10 becomes a single unit forming a triangle as a divine symbol.
Every side of the triangle is composed out of 4 points. 4 Points are
needed to define visible space:1) the zero point, 2) the x-axis, 3) the
y-axis, 4) the z-axis. 4 points define the first regular
volume: a tetrahedron, that looks from the top like the right
drawing.

Dream Catcher
Stainless Steel
Dream
Catchers have been used by American Indians at the first night in a tent
or a building. They should help to remember the first dream.
On
the outside ring of the dream catcher one finds 7 triangles. With the
seven pointed star on the inside they form 7 irregular pentagons.
"7" is the number of the subdivisions in every natural cycle,
"5" is the number of life.
The
5-star in the centre is a human symbol, surrounded by a circle. The circle
connects with ten rods to the dream catcher. Here the "10" means
the ten dimensions of the universe where human beings take part in. This
was known already 2500 years ago by Buddhists, and now the same concept is
proposed by modern science.

Antenna
Stainless steel
An
antenna can send messages or receive them. It seems that
this one is looking for a message. Our technical society
concentrates on developing mechanical means to send or
receive messages. But a human body is a much better
instrument and more reliable. You only have to learn how to
handle it. The first step is to listen to your own thoughts,
not to suppress them. The second step is to listen to your
own feelings, not to suppress them. The third step is to look
for correlations between your feelings with what is
happening outside. Then you will realize that your feelings
and your thoughts are just a mirror of what is happening on
the outside. Maybe an outside far away....

Tree
Old

A
dead tree? When is a tree dead? Biology cannot set a
date. A tree is always an organism. Even a so called
'dead' tree remains an organism. An organism that
changes its form and its organs. It becomes a carrier
for scorpions, worms caterpillars, beetles, bugs,
mosses, grass, mushrooms ... or vivid colours! Burning
colours!
